Physical Description(A-G) Transparent gray glass; mold-blown, tooled, ground. (Aa) Bulbous decanter, widening slightly towards shoulder. Decanter has narrow cylindrical neck, widening slightly towards rim; inner surface of neck is ground or acid-etched. (Ab) Stopper with conical, flat-topped finial; ground base. (B-G) 6 Ovoid cups, widening slightly at rim. (Hab) Cardboard; assembled. (Ha) Rectangular black box with corrugated cardboard interior lining. One short side of box fold out when lid is removed, exposing compartment that is divided into six sections in which the cordials fit. (Hb) Rectangular silver lid with corrugated cardboard interior lining. Two paper labels on top of lid: one long rectangular reading, "ORIGINAL HAND-MADE CRYSTAL GERMANY"; one triangular reading, "SUSSMUTH" beneath a stylized "S".
