Interpretive NotesPairpoint, which had long been noted for the quality of its silver plate, showcased its skill in creating metal mounts for some of the objects in its Fine Arts line. Three grades of silverware were offered. The patterns employed by the firm’s cutters and engravers ranged from simple yet elegant geometric styles to “Buckingham,” with its elaborate flourishes.
