Physical DescriptionCelery Vase. Clear glass with slightly bluish-grey cast; wear marks at base; free blown, pattern molded and engraved; flat foot with rough pontil mark, stem consisting of an annular knop between spool-like parts, straight sided bowl with flaring rim; lower body has a gadrooned band molded upon a superimposed gather and patterned in a twenty rib mold; on the upper part of bowl, a frieze with two farmhouses between which are a small tower, domestic fowls in flight, flowers and leaf sprays, underneath a festoon band.Provenance
