Physical DescriptionCelery Vase. Clear glass with slight bluish-grey tinge (large bubbles and "blowing spirals" in the gadrooned part); free blown, pattern molded and engraved; heavy slightly conical foot with rough pontil mark, flattened solid knop stem, deep straight sided bowl with flaring rim; lower body has a gadrooned band molded upon a superimposed gather and patterned in a twenty-rib mold. On upper part of body a heart-shaped cartouche formed by polished ovals, containing the monogram: "F N" and enclosed by two floral and leaf sprays; on the other side an urn filled with leaf sprays, between cartouche and urn, more flowers and leaf sprays; below rim a circlet of vintage design.
