Physical DescriptionOpaque white non-lead glass, blue decoration, glass-ceramic, stainless steel, black plastic, white metal; pressed, screen printed; a) tapered in cylindrical shaped kettle; machine finished rim with pinched and curled lip; stainless steel band over rim and top of kettle; handle attached to metal band, is above kettle with ends attached to opposite sides of rim, top of handle encased in plastic; sides of kettle rounded and tapered in to base, blue cornflower emblem printed on to both sides of kettle; flat circular base, Corning Ware® trademark printed onto it; b) circular cover; cylindrical knob with concave top, sides of knob rounded in slightly, on short pedestal base; cover slightly domed, "Customer / return / 12/80" written in black marker on top; inside retaining rim on underside of cover, metal plug in center of underside.
