Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown (sheet glass), painted. Flat, rectangular sheet, painted on the back, the figure of Mary, wearing a crown, haloed, in blue robe with white stars and gold trim, a tan dress with white scrolls and crescent, holding a baton in one hand, the Christ child in the other; Christ shown crowned, wearing a red-orange dress with gold trim at the bottom; Mary shown in clouds, supported by three angel's heads with blue and orange wings; the remainder of the picture, a landscape, with castle, pennant, and soldier at top left, a kneeling figure of a shepherd with yellow crook, blue shirt, yellow pants, white socks and black shoes; three sheep; a building with tower at the right; a bearded male figure wearing blue cape and white shirt rising from a gray casket, the lid open, a chain on the front; a standing bearded male figure at the center-right foreground, wearing a blue turban, tan cape, orange coat, gray pants, white stockings and black shoes, and with a gilt sword at his waist; a dog at the lower right, with gilt collar; painted black, simple, molded frame; cardboard backing; wire loop hanger on top.
