Physical DescriptionWood (lignum vitae and mahogany) and ivory stand with metal handle, cut. Revolving wood frame; two elaborately cut, conforming mahogany plates, the top one with four large holes for bottles and two smaller, ivory-fitted ones for covers, affixed to and spaced from the lower one by turned mahogany baluster with ivory finials; inscribed "XII" on the base; on a lignum vitae turned foot and threaded turned handle; gilt brass loop handle on top; incised "XII" on underside; oval paper label on the bottom, with ink inscription "029-63".
