Physical DescriptionColorless glass, enamel; blown, enameled. Vase with squarish circular mouth; plain rim, ground flat; straight side which tapers slightly and then curves inward shortly above bottom; flat base, apparently ground and polished; no pontil mark; exterior surface of wall has numerous worm-like or dendritic tracks, caused either by thermal shock or acid etching; decorated in pale amber and pale amethyst enamels: two groups of two branches (one amber and the other amethyst) with many twigs and leaves; scratched signature on wall near bottom: "Carlo Moretti"; colorless adhesive label on wall near rim: monogram CM and inscription "carlo/ moretti/ italia/ murano".
