Physical DescriptionOrangish-amber glass, oroplastic, gilding; mold-blown, cut, gilt, acid-etched. Straight-walled, panel-cut oval orangish-amber bowl widening slightly towards base. Bowl outfitted with gilded and acid-etched oroplastic frieze depicting classical figures (the fight between the Greeks and the Amazons, or Amazonomachy). (BC) 2 Candlesticks with Neoclassical Decoration. Orangish-amber glass, oroplastic, gilding; mold-blown, cut, gilt, acid-etched. Tall panel-cut orangish-amber candlesticks with flared circular feet, ovoid stems with elongated air bubbles, and flattened knops separating stems from candlecups. Candlesticks outfitted with gilded and acid-etched oroplastic friezes depicting classical figures (the fight between the Greeks and the Amazons, or Amazonomachy).Provenance
