Physical DescriptionInkwell, "Colbert". Colorless glass, black enamel; mold-pressed, enameled. (a) Rectangular tray with concave section for pen and well for ink. Pen holder flanked by two birds enameled black sitting amid berries. Inkwell encompassed by ring of seven birds enameled black sitting amid branches with berries. (b) Circular straight-walled cover for inkwell. Top of inkwell decorated with three birds enameled black sitting amid branches with berries.
