Physical DescriptionTransparent blue and colorless glass with many minute and few large bubbles, and white translucent glass with pitted surface; free-blown, tooled, gilt and enameled. The flat and broad blue rim which turns colorless towards the outer part and has again a blue edge, is applied to the porcelain-like white bottom, which has a flat base, a small straight rim and a convex center at the inside; the bottom shows pontil mark, two brownish initials: "VS" and (probably) "SB", and the brownish mark: "Devers dirix"; the inner part is decorated with the enameled picture of a small Raffael-like angel in a green shirt, sitting between two pillars and playing the guitar, the edge shows a golden leaf ornament and on the top an initial ("G" or "C", the second letter being a small "s" or "f"); the colorless rim is ribbed on the outside and gilt on the inside.
