Physical DescriptionD’Orsay Box with Cover, "D'Orsay - 1". Colorless glass, orangish-brown patina; mold-pressed, applied patina. (a) Circular box base. Side of box decorated with three bands of leaf garland. Side inscribed, "D'ORSAY". (b) Circular box cover. Top decorated with three dancing nude female figures, two of which holding long scarves that draw out and wrap around edge of cover. Band of leaf garland around side of cover. Orangish-brown patina applied overall.Provenance
