Physical DescriptionTranslucent predominantly green and blue marbleized glass (Schmelz glas) with large and small bubbles; free-blown, with applied thread decoration. Barrel-shaped body with rough pontil mark; the glass is mainly light green, including blue, opaque white and some brown threads which have been incorporated into the glass to form a marble effect; a spiral thread of white glass has been wound around the upper part of the body, vanishing at the rim, another one has been applied to the lower body.Provenance
