Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless glass, with yellowish tint and few very small bubbles. Blown and relief-cut. Fragment, probably from upper wall of bottle with globular body. Wall (Th. 0.3 cm with decoration, 0.15 cm without decoration) descends in smooth convex curve and has decoration in relief: horizontal rib above part of frieze containing animal, which is seen in profile facing left, but with head turned to look over shoulder. Head is long, with countersunk eye, rounded muzzle with line to indicate mouth and transverse hatching on upper and low jaw, short curving horn, and long, oval ear with herringbone hatching; neck and back have notched outlines and are countersunk.Provenance
