Physical DescriptionEarly Favrile "Lava" Vase. Greenish amber, brown, tan, blue, green glass; blown, iridized. This ovoid vase culminates in a short, cylindrical neck. Composed of amber glass with a light green tone, the top half of the vase is decorated with pitted and textured glass that appears brown and tan. In the bottom half of the vase, amber glass with blue and green iridescence extends and swirls upwards, overlapping with the textured brown surface and, at points, reaching the rim of the vase’s neck.Provenance
