Physical DescriptionBead in Frame, "Dream Portal". (a) Inner ring made of red, pink, orange, white, blue, yellow, and green soda-lime glasses; flameworked, cut, ground, applied and fired glass powders, polished. Inner ring decorated with embedded cane slices. Outer ring made of red, orange, and pink pate de verre glasses, enamel, applied vinyl letters, sandblasted, sealed. Inner and outer rings assembled with steel rod and epoxy in drilled holes. Outer ring inscribed with the following text: "Thus only in a dream we are at one... ". (b) Magnetized black frame with colorless membrane faces, between which the bead rests.
