Physical DescriptionOpaque white non-lead glass, blue decoration, glass-ceramic (Pyroceram), borosilicate, white metal (prob. plated); pressed, screen printed; a) square shaped skillet; machine finished rim with rounded corners; two handles, are opposite each other, have squared off ends and sides that flare out to rim; skillet tapered in to bottom, bottom rounded in to base, blue cornflower emblem printed on the two sides of skillet without handles; flat slightly depressed base, "CORNING/PYROCERAM T.M./MADE IN U.S.A./B-29" molded into center; b) square shaped cover; round knob with concave top, bottom of knob tapered in to cover; cover domed, two raised concentric circles in middle of cover around knob, yellow and white label with, "P-10-C Cover for P-10/Intro 1960 - A Factory/from 2nd mold set" written on it adhered to top of cover; flat rim with rounded corners, "B-5" molded into top of rim; inside retaining rim on underside of cover; c) oblong shaped skillet cradle; is a metal frame, sides bowed out and rounded up slightly at either end, frame's ends/handles straight, tops of handles ribbed and colored black; open base with two cross supports, supports angled in and form broken ring in center of cradle; "P-10-M-1" on underside on one support, "CORNING WARE" on underside of other; cradle has four legs.Provenance
