Physical DescriptionFresnel Mirror with Original Case. Black glass, lacquered brass, wood, black leather, green velvet; assembled. (a) Two front surface mirrors are made of thick black glass held in a precision mount of bright lacquered brass, 20 cm wide. The mirrors are spring-loaded against three thumbscrews for fine adjustment of tilt. There is a hinged mounting bracket to the rear. (b) Original shaped wood case is covered in decorated black leather and lined in green velvet with braiding.Provenance
