Physical DescriptionHeart-Strawberry-diamond Compote or Bowl. Lead glass, thick, colorless of gray cast; pressed bowl, free-blown standard; circular shallow bowl, sides spreading slightly and curving over at rim; on bottom, band of graduated strawberry diamonds around four overlapping hearts at center; on sides, (thirteen) stippled hearts alternating with (thirteen) sheaf-of-wheat below arc of five tiny diamonds and with small star at each side; rim, alternate one wide and two narrow rounded-scallops (top of heart forming two small scallops); applied large button-knop stem and flaring circular foot; rough pontil mark.
