Physical DescriptionLiebig Condenser. Colorless glass, leather, twine, cork; flameworked, assembled. Condenser consisting of a long tube, which opens into a wider neck with a slightly flared rim. Long tube is inserted into a wider cylindrical tube with rounded shoulders and two tubes attached to wall: one near base and one near top, which bends downward. Inner tube is secured in place with two leather wraps tightened with twine. Cork stopper fixed around bottom end of inner tube.
