Physical DescriptionFlameworked Bee, "Bombus Virginicus". Black, brownish-amber, red, yellow, brownish-yellow, and whitish-yellow glasses; flameworked. The flameworked bee figurine is made primarily of opaque black glass, with transparent brownish-amber wings, red eyes, and whitish-yellow pollen combs on hind legs. The bee’s abdomen features horizontal red stripes and mottled brownish-yellow spots are found on to top of the thorax. Fine speckles of yellow are also found on the to tops of the thorax and abdomen. The glass antenna, applied to head of bee, point downwards and six legs support the body.Provenance
