Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless glass, but with green tinge; blown (two gathers), applied. Inkwell: cylindrical. Rim and well consist of disk (D. 3.7 cm), with rounded lip and, at center, open-ended tube (D. 2.1 cm) extending downward for about 4 cm below top of rim. Body has rounded shoulder and straight, slightly tapering sides; base plain and slightly concave; pontil mark (D. about 1.4 cm). Rim and body are fused. Four small, equidistant handles were dropped onto shoulder, drawn up and in, and attached to edge of rim.Provenance
