Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut and engraved. Cylindrical form, sides spreading at top to plain rim; decoration, from bottom up: narrow band of cut diamond diapering, wide bracelet-like band of wide pronounced diagonal ribs, engraved and polished rope circlet, engraved crest and motto "SANS CRAINTE" (Without Fear or Fearless); on base, group of five fine rays and one wide alternating.Provenance
