Physical DescriptionHeavy clear glass; wear marks at base; blown, engraved and heavily cut. (a) Short and broad cylindrical body, sloping shoulder, cylindrical neck with flaring rim. Cut overall pattern: multi pointed star at base, base ring scalloped, plain relief diamonds between rings on body, swirling flutes in relief on shoulder, neck is paneled between flange-like rings and stepped disks, rim scalloped in plain relief diamonds. Ball knop of finial cut in plain relief diamonds, bottom part paneled. On the body a panel showing a bird with a branch in its beak, shell motifs at the four corners. (b) Conical stopper with angular knop and stemmed ball knop finial.
