Physical DescriptionColorless glass with translucent blue, green and brownish-white applications; mass of colorless glass formed in mold; blue trails applied and dragged up once and down once; brownish-white trails and green dots also applied; then cased in colorless glass and molded again; finished by grinding and polishing. Irregular oval with thick wall and base; rim rounded; wall thickens below rim on outside and tapers to bottom; base plain, ground flat with concavity at center. Decoration consists of bold feathered pattern in blue which fills most of interior and is accompanied by brownish-white stripes parallel to "quills" of feathering and by numerous green spots. Engraved marks and signature in concavity: at center, "F Meydam" (cursive); at edge, "Leerdam unica" (cursive) and "MB1368H".Provenance
