Subject: RE: Information Re: Object Sold at Nov 10, 1990 Sale, Geneva Dear Alexandra, Thank you for your patience. We have now recovered our files and I am sorry to say that I do not have any provenance of note that I can tell you, I believe the purchaser from the auction was someone who works in the arts and therefore perhaps the donator bought it from them. I’m sorry we couldn’t be more helpful on this occasion, if there is anything else in the future that we can help with then please do let me know. Kind regards Jessica Jessica Wyndham F.G.A. Vase sold at the Saturday, November 10th 1990 Sotheby’s Geneva sale (see attached). The vase, a design by Swedish designer Anna kerdahl Balsamo-Stella, has recently been donated to the collection of The Corning Museum of Glass. Unfortunately, the collector cannot recall where he purchased the vase, although we do know it was after 1994. I’m hoping to gather additional information on this object’s collection history. If there is any additional provenance information you are able to share, either before the vase arrived at Sotheby s or after it was sold, we would be very grateful. Best, Alexandra
