Transparent purple and colorless glass, multicolored Paradise paints; blown, painted, cased. Cylindrical vase rounded slightly at bottom and tapering slightly toward rim. Interior layer of vase made of transparent purple glass decorated with painted inscriptions and images, including: the Red House Glass Cone/Ruskin Glass Centre, Corning Glass Works, The Corning Museum of Glass, and The Broadfield House Glass Museum, and various references to The Portland Vase.
