Physical DescriptionColorless; minute bubbles. Blown; slant- and linear-cut. Fragment of beaker. Wall (Th. 0.1–0.2 cm) is straight and tapers. Decoration consists of part of frieze (H. 5.3 cm) with double borders at top and bottom. Frieze contains parts of two elements flanking oval motif above two inverted Vs. Outline of oval motif is slant-cut, and it surrounds smaller crosshatched oval that is pointed at top; inverted Vs are linear-cut. Element on right consists of bird standing in profile, facing left. It has slant-cut head with slant-cut beak and crest, and eye represented by countersunk dot; neck and body have linear-cut outlines, with one transverse line on neck and crosshatching on body; leg and foot consist of two cuts in form of reversed L; surviving part of tail is slant-cut. Element on left is linear-cut and indeterminate; it is not another bird. In spaces between elements and oval motif, and above bird, are several short linear- and slant-cut lines.
