Physical DescriptionCrucible with lid used for glass making. Large dark grey ceramic vessel has pitted weathering and traces of glass over both interior and exterior surfaces. The lid is extremely weathered with traces of rust over both top and underside. Some corrosion may be from use in glass making, but object also appears to have been buried and then excavated.Provenance
