Physical DescriptionFragment of Bottle with Ram. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge. Blown; relief-cut. Fragment from shoulder and upper wall of globular bottle (OTh. 0.25 cm) decorated in relief (Th. 0.1 cm). Decoration consists of, on shoulder, horizontal rib (D. about 4 cm) and, on wall, frieze defined at top by horizontal rib (D. about 6 cm). Surviving part of frieze contains head of ram in left profile, but with ears and horns shown frontally. Head has mouth represented by short linear cut and eye represented by countersunk dot; ears are short and pointed; horns are large and curve up, out, and down, and almost touch back of head and muzzle. Head and ears have incised details, and neck has transverse hatching; back of head and horns are notched.
