Physical DescriptionOpaque deep blue appearing black, with some bubbles that are broken at outer surface; applied opaque blue and opaque yellow base, and opaque white and opaque yellow trails. Core-formed; applied, dragged, and marvered. Amphoriskos: egg-shaped body. Rim thickened and rounded; neck cylindrical; wall curves out, down, and in; base has shallow foot ring consisting of applied trail, flattened on underside. Two opposed handles with roughly circular cross sections dropped onto upper wall, drawn up and in, and attached to top of neck. In terior of neck has remains of grayish brown core. Trailed decoration on rim, neck, wall, and foot ring. On rim: single white trail mostly obscured by single yellow trail. On neck: one white and one yellow trail dropped onto lower neck and wound spirally six times, ceasing at bottom of rim. On wall, one white and one yellow trail attached to bottom of wall and wound spirally, ceasing near bottom of neck; white trail, applied first, wound four times around circumference; yellow trail wound five times around circumference; both trails dragged vertically upward to form 15 adjoining columns of swags.
