Physical DescriptionFragment of Bottle. Colorless; decorated in gold and red. Blown; gilded, enameled. Fragment of bottle. Shape of neck is unknown; shoulder (Th. 0.15-0.2 cm) curves out and down. Decoration is outlined in red enamel and filled with gilding. Small parts of two registers survive: (1) at top of shoulder, band (W. 2.4 cm) of schematic ornament, possibly derived from interlace or vegetal scroll but lacking organized structure; top is horizontal, but bottom has series of triangular projections, about 20 of which would have filled entire circumference of bottle; and (2) below (1), traces of indeterminate ornament.Provenance
