Physical DescriptionLocomotive Headlight with Dioptric Lens. Pressed glass, sheet glass, metal (probably galvanized iron), bronze, paint; pressed, assembled, painted. Cylindrical metal lantern with open chimney at top. Lantern has one hinged side door; both side door and opposite wall have seven-sided star cutout. Interior of lantern has raised bed into which a removable well sits. Large colorless glass dioptric lens at front.Provenance
