Physical DescriptionColorless, red, blue lead glass, brass, silver-plated metal; blown, cased, cut, polished, engraved; metal, hand-made. Hexagonal silver-plated lantern with six rectangular glass panes, in alternating colors, two clear, two blue cased, all four engraved with a flower, and two ruby-cased and engraved with "Merry/Christmas" and scrolls and "Happy/New Year" and scrolls; top of lantern ends in a silver knob, and base in another knob through which a arc-shaped wire passes; both ends of wire are embedded in a piece of wood to keep it upright. (b) is a brass burner for oil stamped "PAT MAR 20 APR 2 MAY 15 OCT 2 1877." and affixed to a tin font.
