Physical DescriptionOpaque deep lapis lazuli blue, modeled surface often heavily weathered with thick buff crust; cast, some retouching by gouging and drilling. Pectoral in the form of a pylon with deep depressions in baseline, center and entablature presumably for inlays; large central rectangle retains adhesive and green weathering crust presumably from an opaque red inlay, above this a small area in the shape of double wings is preserved; the large rectangle is outlined by a deep relief-cut groove on three sides and a vertical groove at the outermost edges of this panel forms two miniature posts which are drilled for pendant inlays of a crowned ureaus on a column with hieroglyphs above, each serpent faces inward; two small rectangular chips composed of alternating opaque red, turquoise and deep blue glass seem to have been inlays from the horizontal entablature as they correspond in height.
