Physical Description"Mani con Farfalle a Smalti" (Hands with Butterflies in Enamels) Vase. Colorless glass, red, yellow, and black enamel; blown, enameled. Blown colorless vase in the shape of a truncated cone and indented at the base. The walls of the vase are decorated with two gloved hands and butterflies, all executed in polychrome enamels. The gloved hands are outlined and filled with a cross-hatched net pattern in red enamel. Around the wrist of the gloves is a thick trim of yellow enamel with two rows of colorless flowers, all outlined in red. The yellow and black enameled butterflies are all outlined in black and positioned in various directions.
