Physical DescriptionMasonic Flask. Green or bottle glass; brilliant yellow-green; blown-molded; ellipsoid body, cylindrical neck, plain lip; relief decoration -- obverse: "Farmer's Arms" (sheaf of rye, pitchfork, shovel, rake, stickle, axe and scythe) within Masonic arch, pillar and pavement (twenty-two wide spaced bricks), scroll ornament beneath pavement; reverse: American eagle (head to left, shield on breast, arrows and olive branch in talons) on oval beaded frame with "OHIO"; at top, rays from eagle's head to inscription "ZANESVILLE" in semicircle; at bottom in semicircle, inscription "J. SHEPARD & CO.", the S reversed.
