Physical DescriptionPair of Perfume Bottles. Clear heavy glass; slight wear marks; free-blown, cut, enameled and gilded. (a) Hexagonal foot with flat base and curved top, hexagonal body consisting of a lower part flaring towards the cover-like curved top supporting the neck with flaring rim; (b) slightly conical stopper with finial consisting of a paneled and flaring lower part and a hexagonal cone; multicolored butterflies on the panels of foot and top of body, insects on the finial; rim of neck and finial gilded, on top of finial a gilded leaf-motif.
