Physical DescriptionTransparent very pale greenish-amber glass with minute and small bubbles and few sand impurities; free-blown and dip-molded, with applied and tooled parts. (a) Conical folded foot with pontil mark, stem consisting of an erected horse with white-black eyes standing on a gadrooned knop which is cushioned by double mereses and a crimped ring; the horse is balancing another gadrooned knop on its head which is surmounted by a stemmed disk holding the funnel bowl; (b) set-in domed cover with finial consisting of a cushioned gadrooned knop surmounted by a fish (dolphin) with its tail turned upwards and with white and black eyes; legs, ears, tail etc. are applied to the horse, tail and mane are crimped, the fins of the fish are also crimped.
