Physical DescriptionAquamarine glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark, non-lead. Obverse: designs on oval panels; American Eagle, head turned to left; wings partly raised and left foreshortened. Large shield with eight vertical bars on breast. Thunderbolt (four arrows) in eagle's left talons, large olive branch in right. Sun rays (twenty-three rays) surround eagle's head. Eagle stands on oval frame which is not broken at top, with inner band of twenty tiny pearls. A horizontal bar connects eagle's talons. Reverse: same as obverse. Edges: three vertical ribs.
