Physical DescriptionLight green glass; mold-blown; plain lip, pontil mark. Obverse: Designs on large oval panels; American Eagle, head turned to left; shield with five vertical and one horizontal bars on breast; wings partly raised. Feathers on eagle very fine and on upper part of wings and above shield indicated by tiny dots. Thunderbolt (three arrows) in eagle's left talons and small olive branch in right. Six tiny stars above eagle; below eagle tiny oval frame. Reverse: American Eagle in flight, head down and turned to left; grasped in eagle's beak is a serpent with its neck and head in loop below and remainder of body curled upward, over eagle, across left wing and straight down. Edges: large circular beading with heavy vertical medial rib.
