Physical Description15 Fragments of Vessels. Glass of different matrix, mostly unweathered ; core-formed, trail-decorated and tooled. (a) Bright turquoise with trails of yellow, white and deep blue, 2 scars of deep blue indicate small vertical handle at shoulder, trails dragged alternately up and down creating elaborate festoon pattern, probably one of several registers. (b) Deep blue matrix, bubbly, dull with pinprick bubbles, trails of white, yellow, light blue and possibly green. Appears to be lower section of lentoid flask preserving one short and one long side. (c) Translucent deep blue glass, dull with trails of white, yellow, and possibly green dragged up and down and marvered into surface, possibly related to (b). (d) Translucent deep blue glass, bubbly with chord, unweathered, thin trails of white dragged alternately up and down to create weak festoon pattern probably the neck of a wide-mouthed jar. (e) Translucent amethyst glass, bubbly, unweathered. Small triangular fragment preserves trails of white, light blue and yellow dragged into a marble-like pattern with a thick trail of yellow possibly highlighting the neck. (f) Translucent amethyst glass, unweathered, heavy trails of white, thinner trails of yellow and blue dragged across a rounded segment, perhaps related to fragment (e). (g) Translucent amethyst with 3 trails of light blue dragged up into a thin festoon pattern, too small to reconstruct any vessel form. (h) Translucent deep blue glass, intense color, unweathered, delicate trails of light blue, white and yellow dragged around surface and marvered in, one horizontal thicker trail of blue may form the lower register of a lentoid flask. (i) Translucent deep blue glass, dull surface, trails of white, yellow an turquoise dragged up in a regular festoon pattern, thick wall vessel. (j) Translucent amethyst glass, unweathered with trails of white, yellow and light blue dragged into an elaborate festoon pattern, possibly related to fragments (e,f). (k) Translucent medium blue glass, unweathered but irregular surface with stone, trails of white, light blue and yellow dragged up and marvered into a festoon decoration. (l) Translucent deep blue glass, bubbly material, dull surface, weathered, trails of white, yellow dragged up and marvered in, too small to reconstruct form. (m) Translucent bright turquoise glass, bubbly, unweathered with trails of white and yellow, small fragment unable to reconstruct. (n) Translucent amethyst glass, unweathered. Possibly from same vessel as (e) or (j). (o) Translucent amethyst glass, unweathered, opaque white, opaque yellow and turquoise. Fragment preserves neck and shoulder of a jar with trail decoration in both areas dragged alternately up and down and subsequently marvered in.
