Physical DescriptionStar canes with opaque white centers and radiating arms in a translucent yellow-brown matrix alternate with a circular cane of the same matrix with an opaque white center and an opaque white casing, bubbly glass pitted with some stone, interior polished recently, exterior pitted and dull; mosaic glass or millefiori technique, subsequently polished. Fragment preserves section of rim and part of body from a large carinated bowl, narrow horizontal rim bends down and in to form a deep collar before bending a second time into the globular body as far as preserved.Provenance
