Physical DescriptionTranslucent blue glass with opaque white and opaque yellow patches; blown, marvered and tooled. (a) Cylindrical box with narrow mouth, rounded lip and shallow sloping shoulder; vertical side with folded horizontal flange at top and bottom; flat base, no pontil mark; decorated with opaque white and opaque yellow patches made by picking up colored chips, reinflating and marvering. (b) Hollow lid with conical top ending in knob, broad folded flange and tapering lower part, which terminates in rounded rim; decorated with single yellow patch.Provenance
