Physical DescriptionCanes of colorless glass with yellow-greenish tinge, thin embedded scale pattern of opaque brick-red and opaque yellow and canes of opaque yellow with embedded scale patterns of brick-red and colorless with yellow-green tinge, opaque white canes with scale patterns of opaque yellow and translucent amethyst, bubbly with surface dulling; mosaic glass technique. Fragment of the back, body and tail of a multi-colored fish, back delineated with a band of colorless glass with an amethyst tinge, body composed of six rows of scale patterns the first in a colorless matrix, then opaque yellow, colorless, opaque yellow followed by two opaque white probably indicating the belly of the fish, below this alternating bands of thin opaque brick-red and wider opaque yellow delineate part of the tail.Provenance
