Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead, barium zinc glass; blown, hot-worked. Double-ended goblet with swirled optic molding on waisted bell- and bucket-shaped bowls, both with fire-polished rims; each bowl attached by a patty to narrow solid rope-twist stem; at end of stem nearest bell-shaped bowl are two small asymmetrical double-looped handles drawn from bits, each handle has a small additional bit added to lower loop and pulled out to form a short point; rough pontil inside bucket bowl; inscribed in script at middle of waisted bowl: "Fritz Dreisbach/ Penland '82; rectangular white paper label on underside of foot: (red ink) 690.05WEG/(in pencil) 1982".Provenance
