Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, brass, paper; blown, assembled; pear-shaped bulb of colorless glass with a point on top and a glass and wire filament inside enclosing a paper label printed on both sides with the outline of a light bulb and "THE MANUFACTURERE OF/THIS LAMP IS LICENSED /UNDER PATENTS NOTED ON OTHER SIDE" and on other side "JAN 22 1895/APR 16, 1895, APR 20, 1903/JAN 19, 1897, MAR. 30, 1909/NOV 8, 1904, APR 27 1909/JUN 19, 1910" and below bulb outline "N.P.6442". Acid-stamped "EDISON/MAZDA" on glass. Oval paper label on exterior printed with "G.E./MAZDA/60/WATTS/1/22/V. Circular brass collar attached to lower end of bulb, with screw threads on end is stamped "PAT.NOV 8, 1904/NOV 22 1904".
