Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, white decoration, black plastic, brass plated metal, cork; mold-blown by machine, screen printed; a) bulbous shaped bottle; rounded smooth rim; long cylindrical neck; metal band around neck, wave-like design stamped into top and bottom of band; handle attached to neck by metal band and two screws, handle roughly "S" shaped; body of carafe slightly rounded out to base, white star shaped designs on all sides, gold and black label on the front with "BEAM/SINCE 1795" printed on it, gold and black whiskey manufacturing label on back (partly glued, partly taped to bottle), white label with black strip at top adhered to side opposite handle, part of label missing, "1/5 Gallon," "Clermont, KY," and "1956-/1962-/1970-" written on remaining portion; "HEAT PROOF/MEDE/IN/U.S.A./GLASS" printed onto side underneath handle; slightly depressed circular base, "1955" written in black marker on it; b) cylindrical stopper; plastic top, flat with straight sides, fits over top of cylindrical cork insert; cork indented at bottom, flat base.
