Physical DescriptionOpaque white and colorless non-lead glass; glass-ceramic (Pyroceram); borosilicate; black decoration; black plastic; white metal; pressed, screen printed; a) shallow square shaped skillet with rounded corners; machine finished rim; two handles, are opposite each other, have squared off ends and sides that flare out to rim; sides of skillet tapered in to base, black scroll design printed onto two sides without handles; flat square base; b) square shaped cover with rounded corners; round knob with concave top, bottom tapered in to cover; cover domed with flat top, two raised concentric circles in center of cover around knob; flat rim; inside retaining rim on underside of cover; c) square shaped electric heater base with rounded corners; flat top; two open plastic handles, are angled up, have squared off ends and sides that taper out, sides of handles end above heater; sides of heater tapered out, box with thermostat control on one side below handle, box has attached cord with plug; "CORNING WARE / ELECTRIC SKILLET / MODEL P-12-ES/115V. 1400W. A.C. ONLY/DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER" stamped onto underside of thermostat box; flat metal base, large raised "X" within a square in center, two screws on two sides of base near handles; heater has four plastic legs, legs extend down from handles.Provenance
