Physical DescriptionOpaque white, ivory, yellow, pink, broan, and black, transparent gray, colorless glasses; flameworked. Clown, dancing as he plays flute. Male, with right foot resting on gray conical base and left knee raised in dance; he wears motley: yellow cap with brown spots, tippet, and black bell at end of tippet, ivory long-nosed mask over eyes and nose, yellow and brown long-sleeved jacket with right sleeve yellow and left sleeve brown, hose with right leg brown and left leg yellow, and pointed shoes with black bells at ends, yellow on right foot and brown on left foot; he holds flute in his right hand and manipulates finger holes with his left hand; base consists of cone, edge of which has been drawn outward and downward at four equidistant points; impressed on underside of base: "B L".Provenance
